Terms and Conditions — for catering services to be provided by Fireside Events Ltd.
The contract will be between Fireside Events Ltd and the client.
The terms and conditions detailed below form a contract between Fireside Events Ltd and the client.
All bookings are subiect to these terms and conditions.
1. Upon booking a 25% deposit is payable by you to Fireside Events Ltd. Payment method is by bank transfer.
2. The remainder of the price is to be paid to Fireside Events Ltd no later than 21 days prior to the event. If the balance due from you is not paid by the required date then Fireside Events Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking and the deposit paid will not be refunded.
3. If the number of guests attending exceeds the numbers originally booked, and we are able to cater for them, we will charge, at the prevailing rate, for the greater number.
4. If the number of guests is less than originally booked and we have already purchased the stock, we will still charge for the numbers ordered.
Cancellations
5. In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled by you following payment in full, the final payment will be returned but not the 25% deposit. If the booking is cancelled by you before the final payment the 25% is non-refundable.
6. Fireside Events Ltd has to cancel the booking following the payment in full by you, the full price paid by you will be refunded.
7. All cancellations made by you must be confirmed in by email.
Limitation of Liability
8. Fireside Events Ltd shall not be liable for events beyond its control or for indirect or consequential loss or damage. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the price paid for the services.
9. YOU will be liable in respect of any loss or damage to Fireside Events Ltd or its property that is caused by YOU.
10. In the case of a force maior or frustrated contract where a booking cannot be fulfilled due to conditions out of our control (e.g. weather, travel disruption/ restrictions, breaching of Government laws/ guidelines including Covid- 19, natural disaster) all deposits paid are non-refundable. Fireside Events Ltd will work with OUr clients to find an amicable alternative date for the booking. If the client wishes to dismiss all other options, or the Fireside Events Ltd is not available due to the changes, Fireside Events Ltd will not be held responsible for the circumstances. No additional costs will be charged for moving a booking in these circumstances and the original will stand.
